Over forty years ago, on their first date, Bob brought along his ukulele and sang to Rose, “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”, a song then popular in folk circles. She actually thought he had written the song, and was thoroughly and permanently captivated. Bob did not claim he wrotten the song, but simply let nature take it’s course. It wasn’t until they had been married several years that Rose discovered the song was not original! Completely retired from day jobs now, they are free to travel with their RV to arts and craft fairs, music festivals and work shops. Bob is an entertaining and engaging teacher, and Rose is an able and knowledgeable assistant. North Georgia Foothills Dulcimer Assoc. - The North Georgia Foothills Dulcimer Association, Inc. is a voluntary organization of individuals who are interested in promoting and supporting interest in the Appalachian dulcimer. We have established geographic playing groups as a resource for sharing music, playing techniques, gaining confidence in performing, and other educational interests.
